i can’t believe it’s been a full week since we last met up for instafriday!! caleb had two days off mid-week & that has totally thrown me off my game for the rest of the week.  i feel like i took far fewer pictures this week than i normally do, but i still have some fun things to show you guys!!

of course we have to start with the obligatory beach shot!!! we’ve been hitting the beach every weekend for a few hours.  amelia gets super excited to go play in the water when she hears the word “beach” — she jabbers on & on about her sand truck from the first mentions of our outing to the time we finally pile in the car & get to the beach.  she loves playing in the sand, throwing rocks into the tide & looking for fishies with daddy.

back in march, i’d ordered a ring with amelia’s name on it from cinnamon*sticks, who was going to be a fellow vendor at the last Sew Funky Market i sold at in california.  i was so smitten with it that i had to order another with mine & caleb’s names on it.  i finally got it in the mail this past week & she even sent me one of her gorgeous heart stacking rings as a special gift.  the infinity ring on top is from one of my fabulous instagram buddies :]

a girl & her accessories — amelia goes through mercurial phases of loving bows, hating bows & often time needing multiple bows all at once.  i’ll let you take a wild guess what mood she was feeling this day….

another fun toddler stage that comes & goes is her willingness to be my instagram model.  obviously now she hates it — see the growing anxiety in her expression as she realizes i’m pointing my iPhone camera her way?  she gets very stressed & starts wailing, “noooooo mommeeeeee!”  it’s heartbreaking & adorable all at the same time.

this week has been killer busy for me in the shop — for which i am so thankful!  i’m anticipating steady growth in sales for the rest of the year, leading up to the holidays.  i’ve had 10-15 packages going to the mail almost every day…. holy cow, you guys rock!!!  i’ve had to get somewhat creative with my sewing hours as amelia is on this wake-up-at-6:30am-everyday kick now.  i’m hoping to share next week a bit more of how i streamline my productivity as part of my biz advice series that has recently started up.  i love the feedback i’m getting from this series — have you checked out the latest posts yet?
