are you on pinterest? if the answer is no…. let me tell you, you’re absolutely missing out!!
the general idea is that it’s a social media site where you can gather ideas, tutorials, recipes, pictures all into different categories — you can pin your interesting ideas to digital bulletin boards. it’s addicting, but it’s a single site with a wealth of information & once you master the ins&outs of how pinterest works, you can use the site to your advantage — for your blog, your biz, your kitchen, your home.
the social media aspect behind the idea is that you can “follow” other people’s pinterest boards…. see what recipes they love, find out what fitness routines are popular, fall in love with a new color scheme, outfit, DIY, downloadable font…. the sky is absolutely the limit. there is so much goodness all contained in one dot com. each item that you “pin” becomes a picture link to a site where you can get all the details or purchase the item.

i always love sharing a good find — a new handmade shop, a delicious recipe, a pretty picture. so i’m excited to tell you that i’m going to start a new weekly series called “it’s oh so pinteresting” where i will feature a cluster of pins from pinterest related to a weekly topic. things i’ve tried, pictures that inspire, links that help….
i thought that with this being the first week, i would help any newbies get started with pinterest with a few pins i found just for you!

I loveeeeee Pinterest.
Sometimes I start to annoy myself when I find 100 things at one time and decide to pin them all. Oh wellll:)
