amelia has become a feisty little toddler — full of commands, demands & sass. ask her any question & her answer will be a firm “no!” — no matter the question. unless you ask her if she wants a cookie or to go potty. both of those get a more affirmative answer.
this past week, she’s also taken to saying “go!” while pointing her finger in some general direction. when i ask if she wants more water or a snack she tells me to go! and points to the kitchen. if i bring in a basket full of laundry, another go! followed by a pointing towards the bedroom where i fold. sometimes i ask her to please be nice to mommy & explain that there’s no need to be bossy. but i won’t lie…. most of the time i just laugh. she’s just so stinking cute when she does it! so full of determination that her will be done. i love her sass, her personality, her degree of purpose in toddlerhood.
so even when she’s being bossy, i can’t help but fall that much more in love with her.
